The Apartments are only 20mins trip from Newcastle Upon Tyne and are ideal if your visiting relatives or working in the area, its also a great location for a base for any holidaymakers who would like to tour the vast Northumberland area and visit places like Hadrian's Wall which is inland or if you follow the beautiful coastline up North you can visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne where you can visit the priory or castle, you can even sample the Lindisfarne Mead that was once brewed by the monks on the island. There are also a few fishing villages well worth a visit, Craster for its world famous smoked fish & Seahouses for its famous fish & chips after which you can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to see the colony of grey seals and puffing birds. Alnwick castle is another place well worth a visit know to many as the home of Harry Potter or Bamburgh castle which was used in the film El Cid. For those who's idea of a perfect holiday is spent shopping then you have to look no further than Eldon Square at Newcastle or the Metro Centre at Gateshead both of which are full of famous named shops and brands and both of which are in easy reach from our apartments. For those who enjoy late night and clubbing then Whitley Bay has a large range of wine bars and clubs, Newcastle can offer the renowned Quay side or Bigg Market for the partygoer and was once voted as one of the top cities in the world for a night out.
