Having lived for most of my life in our around Simonside if I fancied a Chinese takeaway then it was a no brainier that I would be calling in at Simons Chinese takeaway as its only a five minute walk down the road. Over the years I have lost count of how many meals I have had from here but I always tend to stick to my favourite which is a house special curry with chips as they are one of the few Chinese takeaways in the town who can gave a bit of a bite to their curry sauce, wor lass always sticks with their sweet & sour prawn balls in batter, Simons is one of those takeaways that I have never had a bad meal yet and you can always have a quick pint in the Jester pub a few doors up while your meal is cooking.
