For many years this little shop on the corner of New Green Street was know as Carrs the butchers but a few years ago changed hands and turned itself into a delicatessen which is popular with the lunch time trade with some times queues outside of the door. This shop is well know in the town for its hot pork sandwiches which are very hard to beat, go and try one and make sure you get the full works which consists of pork, apple, stuffing, mustard and don't forget to ask for a bit of their crunchy to finish it off.
