Marsden Rattler Train Tickets
A pair of tickets from the old days of the Marsden Rattler train that used to run along the sea front up to the old Whitburn mine, the line was famous in its day for the fact that it used to boast it had the worlds smallest railway station which was about the size of one of todays bus stop shelters, even though the line was built and used most of the time by the miners members of the public could also use the service, notice that the top ticket was issued by the Harton Coal Company Ltd and the second ticket has been overprinted with the NCB logo after the mines had been taken over by the government
